We decided on sort of a mash-up of Catwoman’s current comic look, and Michelle Pfeiffer’s Catwoman.

The suit was purchased and heavily altered to extend the neck and zipper. The arms and legs were shortened and taken in to fit Sonya, then the white stitches were all handsewn on by myself with elastic thread.

Cosplay Piano is an ongoing series with many more installments to come! We got some exciting stuff ahead so stay tuned.

Like the last one, I was costumer/wardrobe/cosplayer wrangler for this.

I was costumer on this, however since the turnaround for the costumes was so short I ended up casting many of my talented costumer friends in this who already have beautiful superhero costumes! Besides casting roughly half the actors, I also managed costume rentals from other friends. The only costume I ended up having to make for this was Aquaman.

This project was great fun and the end result was hilarious!

I did a lot on this little fella! I built most of his body under the supervision and direction of the great Billy Bryan. (The Stay Puft Marshmallow man from Ghostbusters!) I also helped do a lot of fur transfers once his base body was complete.

I also went on set with this guy for filming these spots! My first time on set as a fabricator – it was a lot of fun!

Besides starring in this in my Dragonborn costume, I also did a few other costumes for this film!  I designed the necromancer and mercenary costumes.

The necromancer costume was made by myself, and the mercenary costumes were a team effort between the director, Daniel Kim, and I.

I didn’t do anything too noteworthy this time around. Since this job was such a fast turnaround, there were tons of people working on this! I did a lot of sewing on snaps, gluing, painting, etc. Nothing I can point out on the suit, I helped a little bit everywhere!

Myself, along with my amazing friends Sushi Monster, Vani and Daitenshi were chosen to portray characters from Web Koihime Musou for Gamania’s first cosplay event. The event includes photoshoots, a contest, and finally booth promotion for Gamania at Anime Expo 2012!

This little guy was done for a Capital One commercial and was meant to resemble a beat up Chuck-E-Cheese style animatronic.

He was a group effort and took a team of 7 people to complete. Things I was responsible for were the fur, the ears, the horns, the tail and his little beard.
